Dr. Sanders graduated from Stanford University with a BS in biology.  She received her MD from New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.  She practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Santa Monica, CA for two years and with Women Physicians Association in Washington DC from 1989-2002. Dr. Sanders was selected as one of Washington's TOP DOCS by Washingtonian Magazine.  Dr. Sanders is married, has two sons and enjoys running, traveling and spending time with her kids
